I have now returned from my mini-vacation to Sweden, and today my flat mate moved out. I now have my own apartment and I have also started my work at Adolfo Dominguez, where I will be working July and august Monday to Saturday. The two other girls I work with are really nice, the store very elegant and is located close to the beach, so I will be able to go to the beach everyday at my lunch break.
Friday was the last day at Mercedes de Miguel, I have learned a lot working there and the designer and my coworkers were really nice and strong women that have given me inspiration. Mercedes the designer gave me one of here creations, a cardigan in red, I was surprised but of course really thankful and pleased, just what I wanted. She also offered me to enter free at the international fashion fair in Madrid SIMM in August, which I would love to see.
Yesterday I went out a bit with my now former flat mate and my good friend Paula, and we had a really good time. It feels so good that the exams are over and that summer started. Thursday I went to the final dinner with my class from the university. We went to a “Cidrería” drank cidra and ate chorizo al cidra, morcilla, tortilla a bacalao, chuleta y Iriazabal typical foods from here. The class has a good unity and they are al very nice, just too bad I won’t see most of them again.
This Wednesday was the last day I saw my friend Daniela, this Thursday she went back to France. But I am sure well see each other again, in Spain or France or where ever it will be. Until then take good care of you and remember to don’t worry too much!
Well arrives in Broto .. We checked in a little cute hotel and took of to try out some downwards climbing. We went down waterfalls with rope, jumping or sliding down them with two guides and another group of people. At first I was a little skeptical, or rather afraid but as soon as I agreed doing it I adored it. I assure you, that I am will definitely do that again! Afterwards we had worked up a hunger and went to eat a well deserved dinner at an Italian restaurant after looking at the big waterfall located beautifully in the village.
Sunday morning and after breakfast we prepared to do some rafting. It was raining a lot so the river was very powerful. We took on the suits, life vests and helmets and jumped in to the rubber boat with two other and a guide. It was really tuff, paddling not to hit the rocks and to get down the river the quite a lot kilometers that we did. But we made it and without that anyone went overboard. The scenery was breathtaking and the air fresh and clean and afterwards you felt that you were alive. Hungry and with muscle pains. Going to another good restaurant, I don’t know if it was from the paddling or what but the food was the best I ever had.
On the way home we took a detour and went up the small roads in the mountains and visited the monastery “San Juan de la Peña” a famous old monastery from the 10th century build into a cave where one of the candidates of the Holy Grail was kept.

It was so beautiful you could cry
“Midsommar” in Sweden
When you are just going home during the weekend your flight is bound to be delayed several hours at the way there and back. Just what happened to me, a bit frustrated but hey that’s life.
Well in Sweden I was like walking on clouds, seeing Nehat again and holding him in my arms.
The morning after we took of to Jönköping to celebrate Midsommar with Maja and Oscar and their little son Adam. Unfortunately it was raining all day and at night we met a man bleeding all over the place. But we ate really good typical Swedish Midsommar food, (you really value your own traditions when you have been living in another country) and then we played some Trivial Pursuit, a calm but very nice night. Thank your Maja and Oscar! The day after we took it easy, taking a walk with Adam to the city park up on a hill, with view of the whole Jönköping and with animals for Adam to watch, taking the way by the beach on our way back. I couldn’t help thinking that Jönköpng and Sweden is very beautiful, green and clean!
